Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Plasma CNC / Burn Table Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating CNC plasma cutting equipment (burn table) to cut metal parts according to blueprints and production needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting (burn table) equipment for steel and metal plate processing
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications to ensure accurate cuts
Load and secure metal materials onto the burn table
Program, adjust, and operate the CNC interface as needed
Monitor cutting operations and make real-time adjustments to ensure precision and quality
Inspect parts for accuracy, quality, and proper dimensions using measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers)
Perform preventative maintenance and clean the burn table and work area regularly
Report machine issues, material defects, or safety concerns to the supervisor
Assist in handling cut parts, preparing them for further fabrication or welding
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment in compliance with company safety standards
Support related tasks such as layout, prep, and light welding or grinding when needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience operating a CNC plasma cutter or burn table
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications
Experience using basic hand tools and measuring equipment
Familiarity with CNC controls and basic machine programming
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately
Preferred:
Experience with layout and fitting
Forklift or overhead crane certification
Welding or fabrication experience
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Exposure to loud machinery and fluctuating indoor/outdoor temperatures
Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required
